Sandy Magnus

The Forest welcomes our 2014 Distinguished Speaker- Sandy Mangus. A
veteran of four space shuttle flights and an expedition on board the International Space Station, she
is the Executive Director of American Institute for Aeronautics and Astronautics (AIAA) in Reston, Virginia.

This focus is within the Forest's overall theme of "World Friendship through Flying." Those who have contributed, and are contributing to all facets of aviation and aerospace always are welcome.  
Please submit nominations for new inductees no later than April 15, 2014.

New Initiatives & Outreach!
This year the Forest participated in two events;
Africans Americans in Aviation & Aerospace and Women in Aviation & Space.

Smithsonian's National Air & Space Museum's Udvar-Hazy Center.

2017: Flying, Forests, and the Future - Emphasizing young people who are contributing to flying and forests. 

2018: Security and Solace through Flight -- Military Pilots, Flying Medical Staff, Angel Flight, etc.
